Liphook Food Bank - Update
- Angie (22nd Jul 2020  18:23:54)

THANK YOU to all that have supported the Liphook Food Bank over the last few months, it has been very busy and we are now sending out up to 40 food packages a week and the numbers are rising in these difficult times.

A special thank you goes to Nicky Dean and the Bramshott and Liphook Social Club who started the food bank with some friends within the village. Now the club is getting ready to open and so the food bank has moved.
We are now at Liphook Junior School who have very kindly given us space.
Donations can be dropped off at the school on Tuesdays and Fridays 10am-12pm.

There is now a collection box at Liphook Sainsburys as well as at the Liphook Co-op - thank you to both.

Our stocks are very low and we really need a big push for supplies please. If you are going to the supermarkets please help by adding a couple of items to your shop for the food bank and drop into the collection box or drop off to the junior school.

The items we need are
Cereal
Baked beans
Soup
Tinned tomatoes
Pasta sauce
Longlife milk
Tinned meat (ham, chilli, stews etc)
Tinned fish
Pasta
Rice
Tinned veg
Tinned fruit
Puddings - custard, rice pudding, jelly,
Biscuits
Tea bags (80 / 160)
Coffee
Fruit juice - long life
Nappies sizes 4 + 6
Toiletries
-Soap / shower gel
-tooth brushes + toothpaste
-shampoo
Treats + snacks - crisps, chocolate, sweets
Cleaning products - washing up liquid, laundry powder, general cleaning products.

Thank you for your continued generosity and support we couldn't do it without you.

Is there a way to make a financial donation to the food bank?

Re: Liphook Food Bank - Update
- Angie (23rd Jul 2020  16:41:00)

Hi Liz,

Yes there is - please go to liphookchurch.co.uk/foodbankdonation and use the link on the page to donate by credit or debit card - all money donated goes directly to the buying of supplies and is accounted for by the treasurer. Any donation would be gratefully received, Thank you.

If you are unable to use the link, you can send or deliver a cheque to the Church Office, making it payable to “Bramshott and Liphook PCC” and mark the envelope as “Food Bank Donation”.
Or if you wish to pay via Bank Transfer please email treasurer@Liphookchurch.co.uk for the details of the account to which it should be paid. Please head your email “Food Bank Donation”

Many thanks for your support.
Kind regards
Angie

I have quite a few items of tinned food, etc - is the Junior School the little one off The Avenue? What time would be a good time?

Good morning,
Yes the junior school is off The Avenue, Liphook.
10 o'clock would be great.
Thank you
Angie

Sorry, Angie, I didn't see your reply in time for Friday, so I’ll come on Tuesday.

I have lots of goodies.
