Millennium centre

Does anyone know who to contact to clean up the awful mess that some yobs have left round the millennium centre? Glass everywhere which is now stuck in my child’s bike tyre and nearly in his foot!!!!! Idiots!!!

this is going to sound rude but not trying to be. I BET I get some rude replys

If we get broken glass outside house on the pavement we don't contact somebody to clean it. We do it ourselves, our little bit to help. We often clean outside the house pavement etc

If you are worried about somebody else getting hurt you could take a brush and pan and clean it yourself?

With whats going on I think a bit more community spirit is needed and expect councils to do everything

Are you kidding me resident. Ok next time I go out I’ll take my brush with me and my 2 year old and do it. What a stupid comment! I’ll also bring my child round when they get glass in their foot and ask you to take it whilst he’s screaming and shouting! Idiotic comment!!!!

I admire and respect Resident's positive proactive attitude and willingness to take the initiative to do something not only for his own benefit but for the benefit of the wider community as well.

So much nicer than the negative whinging attitude so prevalent these days.

Resident's post was proactive but not very sensible!

I don't agree, Liz. He is being socially responsible, thinking of others as well as himself. Who could possibly fault that?

D

You seem to know who 'Resident' is so perhaps you know if he went to clear up the glass which would certainly have been public spirited rather than criticising someone looking after a small child which had already had a very close encounter with the glass.

Liz, I do not know Resident beyond the realms of this website. Maybe it would have been better not to allow the two year old child near the glass in the first place? Parental responsibility?
