Be Aware Scam Bank Call - Paul Robinson (3rd Jul 2020 - 11:50:43) This morning I had a recorded message advising me that an unauthorised withdrawal of £600 had been made from my bank account. In order to rectify this I was advised to press 1 Since the caller did not identify either the name of the Bank or an account number I was suspicious. This was indeed a scam and since, in the past, it is clear that these scammers tend to target a particular exchange number I am putting everyone on notice against this criminal activity. Re: Be Aware Scam Bank Call - Rob (3rd Jul 2020 - 23:07:56) They're at it all the time. I had some South Asian gentlemen on the phone today purporting to be from Sky wanting to talk to me about my broadband and TV. The thing is I don't have Sky.....

Re: Be Aware Scam Bank Call - Diane (4th Jul 2020 - 00:05:46) We have had 2 this week phone caller say my Amazon prime needed renewing immediately and press1 to discuss and an Email telling me to renew the TV licence immediately .
