Don't worry the militant guards aren't on strike yet.
This thread is to inform any SWR customers who used the trains during December when they were on strike you are now entitled to compensation.
It's well worth the effort to claim, if you are a season ticket holder either weekly, monthly or yearly you will probably be contacted via e-mail with a pre-approved claim, i had the maximum comp which was £113.20 which is equivalent of 5 days travel all i had to do was say if i wanted a bank transfer or cheque.
If they don't contact you log on to their website and make the claim.
The main rules for compensation is did you travel in December and did you buy a ticket if the answer is yes to both you can get some money.
And remember it doesn't matter if the trains you used were on time or not and if doesn't matter if like me you've claimed delay compensation.
