Is anyone else having issues booking a slot for the tip at Bordon? We've been on the council's web page but there don't appear to be any slots available for this month and you can't get onto July's page or any other.

They only release slots for 48 hours ahead so if all are already booked for that time it appears that the whole month is booked.
So if you wanted a slot for this Saturday you would have needed to get in quick at 9 this morning. I got a slot but couldn’t complete because I had already been to Petersfield this week - I thought it was one visit to one tip but it’s not it’s one visit to any of them in Hants within a week.
Your slot is for half an hour - you can turn up anytime in that slot and they will hold your place ( pretty impressed with that) they tick your number plate off their list. So no need to get there half hour before like I did :( it was all very well organised.
So for Sunday log on just before 9 tomorrow.

According to the website.
"You can only make one trip to one HWRC in a week (Monday to Sunday). You cannot visit more than one HWRC in the same week.
Dates further than 2 days ahead will show as unavailable. These slots will be released for booking 48 hours prior."
On their twitter comments from the 17th.
A new pre-booking system to access HWRCs is now in place across Hampshire.
Over 3,500 slots are released daily for visiting 2 days in advance, (e.g. spaces for Weds are released on Mon)
Demand is currently very high. Please be patient & we apologise for any inconvenience caused"
Also comments to a customer from Hampshire CC to a customer today(18th) on twitter.
"The slots are currently being released 48 hrs in advance Andrea, so for eg Friday 10am slots become available on Wednesday at about 10am. Dates further than 2 days ahead will show as unavailable. Please be patient if you cannot get a slot straight away."
Seems like its a game of strike it lucky if you get a slot.
6 slots showing for the 20th at bordon today checked at 3 but these will go quick, other locations Petersfield, Alton, Aldershot were booked up.

i had no trouble booking a slot i telephoned the Recycling Centre on friday and was given a slot for Tuesday tel 023 801799491.
