London Rd Boy Racers Driving Noisy Old Bangers - Helen (17th Jun 2020  18:12:02) Just to warn other residents there is an problem with boy racers and their little bangers racing along London Rd. This week on various occasions I have witnessed their dangerous driving as they race past the Tower Rd junction with London Rd. Is this meant to be a 30 Zone? There’s an accident just waiting to happen so be carful if out walking in this area or near the park.

Re: London Rd Boy Racers Driving Noisy Old Bangers - Peter (17th Jun 2020  20:40:34) The hot rods did a show of defiance a few ago by ripping it up for ages all over Liphook, am told they did so as someone said something that hurt their feelings online. So I wouldn’t be surprised if we get another Grand Prix due to this post. With no police anymore to stop them am afraid we are the mercy of people whom spend more at Halfords on their cars that the base price of the car they started with.

London road is so bad with people on the downhill speeding out of the village and on the downhill from the A3 speeding into the village. Seen many overtakes between the calming methods they are laughable as a calming measure. Headley road is a joke. Longmoor not much better, can’t remember when I last saw anyone go 20 past Bohunt. Portsmouth road not so bad since the parked cars make it hard work. Roll on the days cars are limited to the road limit, never thought I would say that as a keen driver, but I would rather that than the masses of others who flount the limits.

Police have asked for this footage and other people’s evidence to be sent in. Apparently these people are already well known to them. So iI guess it is watch this space.

The racers know it, the drunk drivers know it, the burglars know it. You can do as you please in Liphook as it takes 20 mins for the law to get here.... if they are even available. Re: London Rd Boy Racers Driving Noisy Old Bangers - Dave L (21st Jun 2020  16:51:03) Reported to Police in 2008 they responded by putting a mobile speed camera in the bus stop, the posts on here were so anti this policing yet now we blame the elections for lack of adaquate response. Cameras are tax by stealth but certainly helped to reduce the racing morons maybe a return visit would help !.
