Theft of MAD pantomime banner from Millennium Centre
- Bramshott & Liphook Parish Council (31st Jan 2025 - 09:56:19)

You may have read elsewhere that the large promotional banner for the upcoming MAD pantomime was stolen from outside the Millennium Centre.

We have now checked our CCTV footage and have clear evidence that the banner was stolen quite deliberately by one individual.

We have reported this to the police today and will pass on our CCTV evidence as the person responsible can be identified.

If you stole the banner, or know who did, please return it and leave it outside the Millennium Centre.

Can you share a description of the individual, date and time. It might help identify them or help others to provide CCTV images. Thank you.

Sad, despicable individual. The MAD company are a non profit making charitable organisation, you are a selfish idiot. Personaly I spent my time in the pouring rain putting the banner up as a favour and the bungees securing it where my own personal items, what is up with you.
If anyone on here happens to know said Muppet please pass on my disgust and dissapointment that someone felt the need to do this and in my opinion must be a really sad and inadequate person.

The banner was stolen at 12.36am on Thursday 30th February. We believe they may have also taken another banner from elsewhere in the village and they approached from the Midhurst Road direction, but left in the direction of the village green/Sainsbury's estate.

The person we can see on our CCTV looks like an adult male wearing a hoodie, carrying a torch with a bag strapped across his body.

Other than that description, we must leave it to the police to investigate further but if anyone does have any CCTV or Ring doorbell footage do let us know as we can pass your details on to them.

What a sad person they must be . They need to be prosecuted and made to pay for new ones. Sorry er but it’s not funny it’s a serious crime that should be dealt with harshly.

I went to a panto with the cubs in the late 60's at the Kings in Southsea starring Rolf Harris before his crimes were known. He did two little boys, not for the first time as it turned out.
