I guess all of us are suffering from no terrestrial (Freeview) TV this morning. Well, at least those of us pointing at Hannington (north west direction for aerial).
Amazing how the atmospheric conditions can knock it out.

Never had this problem with analogue.

I suffer from my DAB signal in the car. Works only in spots around Liphook.
My TV signal is fine but I am pointing at Midhurst.
The phenomenon of the weather affecting signal is called temperature inversion. Layers of denser colder air reflect the signal up and away so it doesn't reach you.

We have issues but funny how it came back on exactly at 07.00 this morning?
We quiet often find the signal starts to break up at exactly 09.00 on some days too.
Either they adjust the power or there's something else causing it?

Ours hasn't been great since the start of June.

D - you obviously didn't live in Liphook in the 1960's or 1970's. I remember the old 405 line analogue TV being unwatchable in hot weather due to interference.

JP, I was indeed living and working in Liphook in the 1960's and 1970's. My point is a fuzzy picture is better than no picture at all.
Re: TV signal - Angela (21st Jun 2021 - 21:10:11)
I have a Samsung Serif TV which is just 2 years old and tbh itโs been a pain right from the start.
Now I can only get a few channels to work and on the ones that donโt work it says NO SOURCE ????
All the plugs are fine so can anyone please tell me what the problem might be.
TIA
Re: TV signal - JP (23rd Jun 2021 - 00:38:16)
Angela - if your aerial is pointing towards Hannington (Basingstoke) then you can blame the Welsh. If it is pointing towards Rowridge (Isle of Wight) you can blame the French while if it is pointing towards Midhurst then you can probably blame the Belgians or Dutch.
However, given that the warm weather is over for now so the atmospheric conditions are less favourable, it may be worth having someone knowledgeable take a look at your aerial installation to see if the rain is getting into the cables.
