Gunns Farm Road
- beejay (22nd Feb 2021 - 12:42:12)

There seems to be several potholes developing along Gunns farm road where heavy vehicles are travelling to the new railway bridge. Will the developers be repairing the road when the works have been completed ?

they are not developers, they are Network Rail, you can direct you query to

Road repairs are covered out of general taxation and heavy vehicles pay more tax due to being heavy, so I suspect unless you can scientifically prove within video evidence how each wheel of these vehicles caused that specific damage I would expect the people at network rail will probably fall over laughing when you contact them and tell you to go and speak to your government to sort the road repairs.

Yes I imagine they will, because the lorry have wrecked the gravel road down Heatherley mews and, they put new gravel down from top to bottom. The road was awful and its alot better now for the residents that live down there. Think how they must feel, having all that delivery day in day out.
