Walking Away.
- MR V RODGERS (21st Oct 2020 - 11:55:17)

Due to advancing age, I am giving up taking care of Sainsbury's pond. After the 26th of october 2020 (my sixty fifth birthday), I''m walking away.

Did I hear cheers? Are they for the efforts I've put in? Or are they from those who wanted rid of me?

One of those who wanted rid of me was councillor Bill Mouland. You may recall that remarks were made about this being a job for boy scouts...Well: when driving his sleek open-topped sports car, while wearing his beach shorts, Mr Mouland looks every inch the boy scout who made good.

He has the looks to take over the enterprise, and I dare say that seeing him doing some hands-on work will raise his prestige with the public.

VINCENT RODGERS.

Do we really need to giggle on a thread like this, I don't know Mr V Rogers, or the work he's done or the alleged beef with a councillor, no wish to come between that, but if we really are this great little community village people thing (let's face it we're not really anymore, just another sprawling dormitory area off the A3) try not to jump in especially if someone seems to be down on their luck, we're not 10 (unless we are 10 in which case giggle away), even though this is a public site and you post on here at your own peril (why like most posters I choose not to give my real name, you can giggle at me but it's not really me and some people think that's weak, but if it's OK by Ed!), give people a break where possible, unless you know any more about this than I do, which isn't much, I didn't even know there was a Sainsbury's pond!

- Resident (24th Oct 2020 - 13:56:38)

Speaking for all the residents we have had months and months of harassment even our young children have been stopped or shouted at by this man, yes he has been trying to clear the Soakaway but getting stuff out and leaving it in piles around the path is not helpful . . . No one asked him to do it he took it upon himself to do it then got cross when he asked to be paid for it and obviously no payment was given . . . .

I for one am glad I’ll be able to leave my front door with my children safely without being harassed!

- Midhurst resident (24th Oct 2020 - 15:24:02)

Oh the lovely Vicent!
Why don’t you keep walking and stay away from the poor residents you’ve been harassing for a while!
No one asked you to take care of the pond and you are a very delusional man to request payment for your work of dumping all the crap into the path which is used daily by the residents. You have harassed and terrified very young children and you should be ashamed of yourself! It doesn’t surprise me that you’ve been banned from Sainsbury’s.
Goodbye and good riddance to this vile man!

Vincent, you have harassed female staff in sainsburys, which is why you were banned, you harrased my friends daughter on the college bus. Stop pretending that you are a good citizen.

Unfortunately after him saying he was walking away, because of this Delightful weather he has returned back to doing the pond. I wonder how long it will be before us residents get our daily harrasment back.

I witnessed VR
dump 10 empty wine bottles behind the small Sainsburys wall on Midhurst Road. What an absolute disgrace and a poor example to the youth of our village.
