Barn Dance Musicians/Callers/Venue - Elizabeth (20th Oct 2019 - 19:19:27) Has anyone organised a barn dance recently? I'm looking to hold a charity barn dance on 29th February and am looking for suggestions of bands. Any good venue suggestions for 100+ people?

Re: Barn Dance Musicians/Callers/Venue - D (20th Oct 2019 - 23:23:22) Sounds like the Doel Brothers sort of thing. They're a local Alton band and very well known. They've played at big gigs like Americana. I used to work with one of them, jolly decent chap.

Re: Barn Dance Musicians/Callers/Venue - Dawn Hoskins (23rd Oct 2019 - 15:56:52) I know that there is a Charity Dance event at Blackmore Village Hall at which there is a barn dancing slot. they are running different dances all day a different one every hour - raising money to fix subsidence You could contact them - the details are on facebook.
