Bins were collected yesterday in Headley Road and Longmoor Road, albeit later than usual.

On the delivery date card it says Tuesday 22nd. Tuesday was the 21st so someone's confused.

I rang Winchester council today and was told that they are trying to play catch up and to leave uncollected bins out. They are working Saturday as well apparently. Getting to be quite a regular occurrence now.

I haven't had my green bin collected for a fortnight, despite phone calls and emails. First promise, it will be done in three days. It wasn't.
When I phoned again he said they'd definitely come that day (week ago last Friday). Still not been collected despite emails and more phone calls.

It's now due to normal collection next Tuesday. What's the betting they don't pick it up then either.

I've suggested dropping the cost of my council tax, since I don't have lighting, kids etc. That suggestion wasn't taken up, surprise, surprise...
