Vodaphone signal
- Debbie (25th Mar 2019 - 10:03:52)

Hi there has anyone else experienced phone signal problems with vodaphone network from around Thursday last week ?( liphook )
My phone signal has been ok these last few years now I'm having signal problems in and out of the house and one bar of service on my phone or it goes to two bars then drops to one again or saying no service in the top left hand corner !

Just wondering if anyone else had had a problem thank you

The mast at London Rd /A3 is apparently undergoing maintenance this month. Maybe contact Vodafone 191 stating signal problems to get latest information and bill redress.

Hi
Thank you so much for all your replies I thought it was my phone and thought I need a new one .

Excellent will try and call vodaphone later

I hope it's sorted soon as I have been making important phone calls from my mobile as (home phone is down at the moment for another reason handsets are not working ) and either the person I call they cannot hear me as it keeps going distorted through the call or it cuts out or I try and call out and it has a beep beep on it then goes dead .

Thank you all :)

Yep bad in Headley Road area too. Signal poor and I rely on my phone for work calls. I think I'll give Vodafone a call.

I spoke to Vodafone this morning and they reckon it will be fixed in the next 48 hours. They have offered me compensation for the days that it's been a problem.

I am having problems with Vodafone 4G signal in London Rd,/A3 end. Can anyone else get a 4G signal indoors?

Re: Vodaphone signal
- Paul (7th Apr 2019 - 16:13:32)

Are they upgrading to 5G? without your/our knowledge consideration or consent? This would explain why they have cut down all the trees alongside the A3 as the 5G millimetre waves don't travel well through trees.

This is the latest text I received from Vodafone on 3rd April....not heard anything since.

Hello. Just to update you on the problem with our network in GU307SG, unfortunately our equipment needs a specialist part replacing - which means there will be a slight delay in getting things up and running again. Sorry for the continued disruption to your service. We're working hard to fix this issue as quickly as we can, and we'll keep you updated on our progress. Thanks for your patience.

- Helen (7th Apr 2019 - 22:17:29)

Apparently there has been no indoor 4G since 4 March. The A3/ London Rd mast signal has been reduced to 3G until the mast gets a fix/upgrade. If you call complain to Vodafone you should be offered bill compensation for the time the mast is being fixed.
