parking on the pavement
- linda (18th Nov 2018 - 12:18:48)

I'd like to say THANK YOU to the driver who parked on the pavement along the Haslemere Road. I am in a wheel chair and I had to go out into the road to get around the car. It was 7pm and dark, luckily my husband was with me and had a torch. I dread to think what could have happened. Also anyone with a puchchair would have had to go into the road. So thanks again !!

If you can, take a pic. I believe that if the whole pavement is obstructed the Police can act.

Unfortunately the world seems to be populated by too many thoughtless idiots when it comes to parking!

You should take clear photos and report it to the highways dept and police.
Nobody should be forced into the road because inconsiderate drivers have blocked the pavements.

Come and have a look down Weylands Close late evening / early morning and see the numptys who park rather dangerously right on the junction corner forcing all our cars to turn out blindly and on the wrong side of the road! Also many residents park cars up on the pavement often blocking both sides. How do fire engines get past?
