EE reception
- Rob (15th Nov 2018 - 10:11:46)

I've had little to no EE reception since Tuesday, anyone else have the same problem?

Spoke to EE and both masks are down with no clear indication of when they’ll be back up

Been on to them this morning and got £10.00 credit for mine and the wife's phone bills.

Same here no service most of the time past two days
Can't understand that there is no response to this dilemma 😕

If you have a smart phone that has WiFi calling capability try turning that on. I have the same problem and called EE this morning who told me what to do and I’m able to use my mobile without any problems

Down side is you do need to be in your home to use it

Ahh that explains it - my Mother has been having problems on and off for a few days with not being able to send or receive texts. She's with Virgin and I think they piggy back off EE.

Glad I saw this - was about to go through the rigmarole of cancelling her contract and setting up a new one.

Unfortunately neither she nor her phone have wifi capability!

Also have the same problem, really frustrating. Will try WiFi calling.

Just had an email from EE saying that the problem has been fixed.

You can go into the EE website and sign up for Network Status updates, they'll email you when there is a problem and when it's fixed.

There are 7 EE towers (not masts, mast have guy ropes) in Liphook but the important one is the large tower on top of hill behind Old Thorns

I’m just wondering if the email from EE saying all is fixed now explains why there is a noise that could be a generator going day and night by the mast in Bohunt school. It basically sounds like a car permanently running outside my window. If this is the case - I hope it’s fixed properly soon - or at least before the summer!!

Hi,

When EE is working how do you find it in this area? I live towards Radford Park and i'm currently on Vodafone with no issues indoors or out but i'm thinking of moving to EE. How do you normally find the indoor and outdoor coverage in the area?

The EE reception is normally very good. I have good coverage and speeds on 4G pretty much everywhere (when it is working, which it now is again).
