family solicitor
- Mr X (13th Nov 2018 - 19:36:10)
Dear Good People of Liphook,
Can anyone recommend a family solicitor in the Liphook area (+ 5 miles) that deals with child custody disputes.
Not a high flyer but do have some money so reasonably priced would be good, as ever.
Thanks

I used Burley and Geach, wasn't cheap, but I maintained a good level of contact.
Good luck in reaching an amicable settlement

Try Robert Tozzi at Burley and Geach in Liphook. Not sure of his particular expertise in your area but I would be surprised if he couldn't help. Very approachable and could certainly put you in touch with someone else in the firm if necessary.

Re Burley & Geach.
I would be cautious about using this firm. I had an urgent matter to sort out but they failed to respond to 4 calls to their answering service and reception.
I was eventually forced to employ another firm..

@ d.
The problem with most good solicitors is that they have lots of clients and lots of meeting to attend.
Most solicitors are unlikely to drop everything and attend to you matter immediately because that is not how solicitors work.
Same with any other profession I suppose.

Don't comment without all the facts!.
4 months wait for the return of a call as I try to retrieve paperwork they are holding on my behalf - how busy can they be?

@d...why didn't you attend their office to collect it if it was urgent?

@d, absolutely correct about not commenting without all the facts, I bet you have not disclosed all the facts at all in this matter

I have dealt with Burley & Geach at both their branches in Liphook and Grayshott and have found them to be outstanding. d I find your post very, very hard to believe. In all the years I have dealt with them they have ALWAYS responded to my calls - the staff are efficient and approachable. Good firms of solicitors are hard to come by and Burley & Geach are one of the best.

R and Rolli
No - I have not disclosed all the facts as in the circumstances it would not be appropriate.
The documents required, in view of their nature, could not be just collected.
As I said previously - check your facts before before you climb on your high horses.

How can we know facts if none are given - what a strange thing to say?!

Dawn
As always you have a view. My original post was to comment on my personal experience with B & G and nothing more.
I'm sorry if this is not sufficient to satisfy your curiosity. !

This started as a simple question but yet again it is turned into a debate Why should anyone disclose personnel information just because an opinion was offered. Dear me Dawn. Why am I not surprised.
