Mains Water leak on the Headley road
- Local resident (21st Oct 2018 - 10:20:47)

The leak is coming from the middle of the road opposite the Vets/Liphook Travel. Before I get on the phone, does anyone know if the water authorities are aware of this? It has been leaking for several days. And a cold - potentially icy - spell is coming.

The water company are aware of the leak. They visited the site about 2 weeks ago and have marked the area with blue paint. It would do not harm to contact them again as it has been leaking for quite a long time.
Thank you

Thank you. I will give them a call. I assume the road will have to come up, which is going to cause chaos...!

Fixed last night. Several charming chaps from Clancy Docwra landed around 8pm - two hours of digging, flashing lights etc - a polite knock on the door at the end to check water pressure - all sorted.

Very impressive.
