Dangerous Driving London Road
- Helen (17th Oct 2018 - 21:05:04)

Was out with the dog today and from the road by the horse’s field there came a little old dark green Mazda type sports car. Very distinctive with a loud exhaust. In my opinion it was being driven rather dangerously. He was reving his engine and spinning his wheels like a maniac as he joined the London Rd. We had to wait until he had driven past at a very high speed into the 30 zone before crossing the road to the park. It is not the first time I have seen this idiot driving this same little car dangerously. People need to be careful walking in this area as this driver is posing a real danger to pedestrians and other users.

Apparently you can take number plates and pass info to the police who should investigate, especially if there are multiple reports/occasions.

All too common on London Road and Liphook as a whole unfortunately, the speed limits mean nothing it seems.

They had the 30mph flashing signs up but they’ve now gone, can only hope they get data from them that shows how many times they were activated as this road is treated with utter contempt.

We saw this car too this week. It’s a old little green Mazda with performance exhaust. This driver is an accident waiting to happen. The way he drives out by Radford Bridge and joins London Road by wheel spinning/ fish tailing his car is potentially dangerous.

Must be fairly cool to have a name like XX, are you some sort of sarcastic celebrity? Perhaps you don't realize, when you make a name no one takes you seriously, its like walking into a normal job interview as an adult and wearing just a nappy, we find it humorous.... but your wont get the job.

Editor, can we not have actual accounts validated at the very least with actual email addresses on this forum please?

John
Not quite sure why you are so upset with xx. I think you'll find a lot of names are not real names on tbis website or else we have some very strange names in Liphook!

Could it be John is getting upset with XX because he’s the driver of this little green Mazda M XX5 ? :)

I do suspect that area is being used as a quiet pull in in which to sell drugs. Lots of times I have seen (after dark) cars and groups of young men going in and out of the cars then roaring off. They cannot all be there to feed the horse after datk or for the library knit and natter group.

It’s the little Green Mazda MX5 that’s the potentially dangerous one. Be careful when crossing the road if he’s about.

The police have been informed that there is someone dealing drugs from a house on that layby. Unfortunately unless they catch them in the act there isn't a lot they can do. Report any instances to 101.

Green Mazda MX5 was engine reving / wheel spinning out onto the London Road again today. Also sounding his horn and driving in an erratic /dangerous way. Also I witnessed a motorbike also pulling out onto the same road by the Horse’s field. Again this is another idiot giving an exhibition of dangerous driving. Both a risk to other road users and an accident waiting to happen.

Helen, why don`t you note the registration number and report it to the police.

Re: Dangerous Driving London Road

Especially if they have been taking drugs

He’s at it again tonight 10.10pm and he’s Just done a massive out of control wheel spin up the London Rd. It’s all on the camera we were given. Police can now see the evidence. What a numpty!

There's a similar car that drives in a similar fashion along Midhurst Road and through Chiltley Way/Shepherds Way regularly.
I wonder if it's the same vehicle???

I believe it’s a little old Mazda MX5 soft top sports car in dark green. Sports exhaust and driven by a local idiot, Probably lives in one of the houses near the Horse’s field on London Rd based on the number of times he’s been seen tyre spinning there.

Just to worn folks. Tonight around 9pm I witnessed this idiot reving his engiine and wheel spinning his little green Mazda sports car. The driver pulled out onto the London road next to the horse’s field at Radford Bridge in a dangerous out of control manner. This is not the first time I have witnessed this. People walking in this area need to be careful as this driver is dangerous and an accident waiting to happen.
