Usual scenario. Heavy plant stolen from nearby building site. In and out in less than 2 minutes. Early hours Sunday morning

We've just come back from Tesco Bordon; the blasted swines have left the digger near the damaged site, so someone has to now stand and direct traffic in and out; its a real mess of steel casing, shattered glass and overturned cash point housing. A till operator said it was waiting to happen when I said that after several earlier incidents Tesco could have been on their guard, and the building site close by (the new community centre being erected) could surely have made their diggers more inaccessible; but I suppose these thieving animals will stop at nothing in their crime spree. Apparently they only got the cash machine that had a lot less money inside it. Maybe we will have to return to the days of cash availability only during working hours, especially if the a.t.m.s are put inside the shop. Good idea I think.
