SWOP: Full 7kg Calor Gas - Steve C (11th Jun 2018 - 18:03:48) Would anyone like a full 7kg cylinder of Calor butane gas (blue cylinder). It is full/unused - it was the spare for my old bbq - unfortunately the new one runs on propane! I will exchange for any empty 7 or 13kg Calor cylinder + £5 cash (bargain as new 7kg refill costs £23 at Princes). I need the empty so I can swop it for a propane refill. Re: SWOP: Full 7kg Calor Gas - Ian (13th Jun 2018 - 13:27:22) Hi, You might want to use your butane (will need a butane regulator, off your old bbq if you still have it) and when empty the refill shop will (in my experience) swap empty butane for full propane. Don't forget to change the regulator to propane at that point. All said, butane is fine so long as the outside temp is above 5c. So unless the bbq is being used in winter you can stick with butane. I bought it from Hiscocks in Liphook a few years ago and it has never been used. The reason I bought it was for a room heater which also has never been used! Rachel 07909986463
