a rat in our midst
- Chris (22nd May 2018 - 12:38:08)

Hi, Found a hole underneath my garden shed last night. I am suspecting a rat(s) as have recently just evicted Field mice from the same location. The hole looks too big for a mouse.

I didn't want to put poison down as have two rabbits that have the freedom of the garden.

Any suggestions? Anyone know/recommend a pest control man!

We used East Hampshire District Council. We have a westie and every care was taken to ensure his safety. After a couple of visits the problem was resolved. The rat was living under our shed as well.

Maybe you should not have evicted the field mice 🤔

Just a thought for next time!

Try to fill the holes in and cover them with a stone slab.
S I am with you on the field mice front!
Better and kinder than poison is a very good shot with a gun or even ratting dogs!
