Things being taken from graves at bramshott church
- Robin (12th May 2017 - 09:32:30)

Someone has been taking things from graves at bramshott church yard special things people have put on graves off their loved one's. I met 2 other people yesterday in the church yard that all so have had thing removed. The church officer says it's not been removed by any of their ground contractors. Things been removed woven stick hearts hanging from crosses, the metal flower containers, and glass one's dug into the ground. Also people have put solar lights on the graves they have been taken. I'm afraid if I catch who is doing it I will not be held responsible for what I will be doing to them. This happens at night times so I'm going to be there odd nights until I get to the bottom of this. We have special things for our lover one's and really sad there is no respect for their resting place.

We too have had items taken from our son's grave over the years so this is nothing new. If I catch the ;person or persons responsible trust me when I say they will never disrespect another grave !

I am very sorry to hear that.

I visit the Bramshott Cemetery quite regularly and I did clear up a broken glass vase that looked like it had recently been placed on a grave. Most likely knocked over by the deer that eat the flowers!

This has happened to two family graves.
How can people be so heartless and take such small items chosen with care that give comfort to grieving families.
It’s beyond words it really is !!!!!!

It is possible that the items are being taken by fox / fox cubs. As like dogs / puppies they do love a toy to play with and will quite often take items from gardens back to their dens.

The items in question were small stone animals which would not be suitable for animals to play with.
