DOG WALKERS Liphook Recreation Ground
Would people PLEASE pick up after their dogs. Some dog owners are very irresponsible and those of us who are, are fed up picking up after you! It gives all if us a bad name! Plenty of bins available so no excuse.

It has got really bad recently around the outside of the tennis courts. It looks like it's from the same dog so shame on that owner who has decided not to pick up in an area that is primarily used by children!!

While overseas recently, I noticed many signs in a public area that dog fouling attracted a âŹ1,000 fine. And it was enforced.
We need something like that, as you can't fix dumb.

Yes, agreed. But threats of fines I dont think will cure it unfortunately đ Just need to catch someone! Got one other tactic up my sleeve which I'll try.

We live in a society where it is acceptable to run up debts and not pay them, where a blind eye is turned to the abuse of disabled parking bays, where children are allowed to do as they please with no fear of recrimination, where young children are allowed to ride in supermarket trollies regardless of their soiled nappies and dog faecey covered feet.
This is how people have been bought up now, expecting someone else to clear up their mess.

You need law enforcement to handle this, none of the governments we have had, have put money into law enforcement so I doubt your going to get any official assistance.
Police, Doctors, teachers all at risk of extinction at the rate we are going.

Try scattering dog repellent around the area. This helps to break the dog's habit of associating a particular place with a bowel movement! This certainly worked at a club premises in Alton which I attend. I think Hiscock's stocks it.

Was saddened to hear there is some antisemitic graffiti on the walls there. Mindless vandalism and cowardly.

Where are the graffiti?

And what qualifies the graffiti as 'anti-Semitic'? There are all sorts of accusations, like apparent "racism" doing the rounds online with little to do with reality. In what way were the Liphook graffiti anti-Semitic?

Thanks people.
Dog repellent a good idea. Will try that one. Another dump round back of tennis courts this morning. Same dog!! Yes, as Dog people we can tell! Such a shame.
It's such a lovely rec. All thanks and a shout out for Andy who keeps it so beautiful for all users along with the rest of the team.

@john Johnson. It was a word that was an antisemitic slur. Now cleaned.

The graffiti uses the term of 4 letters beginning with y***.
Am personally unsure of the level of offence it causes yet am familiar with the term having been associated with Tottenham Hotspur football club and or its fans. The reason suggest this link is that the graffiti appeared the night Tottenham won a European football match, and my understanding is that some Tottenham fans do self identify with this term therefore itâs possible the graffiti isnât âdirectedâ at anyone but could be merely a celebration of that victory albeit they clearly shouldnât have done it
