Thanks for the information. I’ve been hearing odd animal calls at night. Not owl, fox, badger or hedgehog and I never thought of Nightjar. They are found on the Heathland nearer to Guildford so they could well be expanding their range. I’ve checked the calls and they certainly sound like the calls I’ve heard. I’m in the Griggs Green area.
