 Carnival countdown
27th October 2007 - Only a few weeks to go now until it's Carnival time in Liphook.
Saturday 27th October is the all important date, and the fun kicks off at 12pm in the Sports Hall at Bohunt School, where there will be a number on interesting stalls and entertainment to keep young and old amused while the Children's Fancy Dress Competition gets underway! Bob the Builder will be dropping by as will Jingles the Clown, judging will commence at 1pm. Refreshments will be available.
If you are entering a float this year, don't forget judging starts at 5.45pm so be ready nice and early, the crowning of this year's Queen takes place at 6.45pm [not 5.45 as previously noted] and then the procession moves off at 7.00p.m. Then take a walk down to Radford Park to enjoy the fireworks and Bonfire. A fantastic day of Family Fun for you to enjoy.
