Apple cabs - very rude service

I phoned Apple cabs today for a comparison quote, after phoning Courtesy cabs. Courtesy cabs were, as their name suggests, extremely polite and friendly.
Apple cabs however were so rude and grumpy and clearly didn't want the job, quoting TWICE the amount compared to Courtesy cabs.
When I expressed polite surprise at the quote, the woman at Apple cabs said "well go to Courtesy cabs then" and hung up on me!
That's one cab firm I will NEVER use...How about some polite customer service Apple cabs?

The problem with Apple Cabs has been" disgust " on this forum before!
Nobody it would seem, can say anything positive about them.

Once again Anon posts a negative comment about Apple Cabs but, quite coincidentally has positive things to say about Courtesy cars. If I was a cynic I would suggest that there is skullduggery afoot, but I am not so I will not.

Once again we all know what they are like I too think it is pure coincidence (not) not another Peter shepard plug. Now that the green dragon is running smoothly let's get back to another sore subject. Vote with your feet move ON.

I can assure you there's no motive....I honestly just phoned up for a quote and was shocked at the different attitudes to my request! Just thought that Apple cabs were extremely rude in comparison to Courtesy and wondered if anyone else had been treated this way!

Just to assure everyone I neither have the time,energy,or desire to run down anothe taxi firm,they do that all by themselves...

Apple cabs are the worst thing that ever happened to Liphook, my father is very disabled and needed taking home, they said they could not do it as they had another job they were going to. When they said where they had to go, they had to drive right past my father's house which he explained to them, but they still refused to help. They don't deserve any work as they are totally rubbish!
May I say all the other taxi companies are brilliant, can't do enough to help dad!!!!!

It is becoming very apparent from the various posts on taxi service and availability in the area points to a shortage of taxi operators. At weekends, especially in the summer, it is the Devil's own job to get one unless ordered well in advance. That is no fault of the existing taxi firms. If they are booked up they have to honour their pre-bookings. It would be an expensive folly for them to have a spare car and driver standing by "just in case"
This indicates that a business opportunity exists for an entrepreneur to get another car hire company going. Liphook is expanding and will continue to do so for some time. Services need to grow with it.

Perhaps someone could get an Uber franchise for the area? or courtesy cabs take on more drivers?

I bump into many people throughout the week, who stop me and say "You should get more cars,couldn't get a cab",When I ask them what time was that they reply "11.30 on Saturday night".
What time did you try booking that I enquire the reply often comes as "at 11.30" so I could employ 10 more people to make sure we always have a taxi for people at 11.30 on a Saturday night, but I'm not sure what they would be doing the rest of the week!

I have had to use Apple Cabs in the past, usually when there are problems with the trains. I was horrified at both the rudeness of the lady driver and her complete disregard for other drivers. I and the other passengers were physically shaking with fear after the experience. When we complained we were threatened with the police due to being "racist". I know others have had a similar experience.
