CV of Green Party Candidate - Katie (3rd Apr 2015 - 13:44:58) Just in case anyone is interested, here is a link to the CV of the Green Party candidate (Peter Bisset) for East Hampshire. cv.democracyclub.org.uk/show_cv/6559 I have emailed the other candidates to ask them to upload their CV's so voters can make an informed decision. When you compare his experience to that of Damian Hinds, "Before Parliament, Damian spent 18 years working in the pubs/brewing and hotel industries, in Britain and abroad.", surely it is no contest. He seems to do a lot in the community as well, his Facebook page shows what he's been doing: www.facebook.com/easthantsgreenparty I have tried to contact Damian Hinds about issues in the past, and found him very unhelpful and dismissive. I felt he was doing the minimum he had to do in responding and basically felt 'fobbed off' with a standard answer in the hope I would be satisfied and go away. He only seems to be interested when there is an election coming up.

Just to keep you up to date I have had one reply from UKIP referring me to the candidate\\\'s website but so far no more CV\\\'s. I hope to get some response after Easter, although the comments above about Damian Hinds don\\\'t fill me with confidence! How do other people feel about Damian Hinds locally? How has he represented East Hampshire during the last two terms? Thanks for comments.

Re: CV of Green Party Candidate - Keith (6th Apr 2015 - 12:53:36) Have always found Damian Hinds to reply reasonably quickly (given the size of his mail/email inbox), usually within a day or two of sending the question. Sometimes the reply comes from Damian himself and sometimes from his office staff but I guess that is to be expected. Remember that sometimes just because the answer is not what you want to hear is not the same as not answering. Just one thing relating to the previous post, Damian Hinds has only served one term, having been first elected in 2010. I should add as a disclaimer that I am not a member of the Conservative party and have never actually voted for Mr Hinds myself.
