Bohunt Park - Jools (20th Mar 2015 - 23:47:20) Have other people received a letter and plan showing the Bohunt Plan I including a support card stamped and addressed to The Planning Officer? It appears to have come from "Green Village Investments". This was pushed through my letterbox this morning at 7am!

Re: Bohunt Park - Maria (21st Mar 2015 - 08:32:21) Pretty desperate tactics by the developer and yes lots of people have had them. I doubt the planning authority would take much notice of a mailshot support card and, anyway, the date for comments has passed!

I have it on good authority that GVI have a massive appeal fund so watch out for more of the same. GM you and Kevin Jackson have set yourselves up as self appointed spokespersons for this scheme. Your vociferous and often arrogant responses to some of the other posts against were bordering on bullying and at least intimidating. Everyone is entitled to their opinion so, tempting though it may be, keep your visceral responses to yourselves.

Although not all of us have the same knowledge of procedure as GM we can all see what is happening and should be able to object if we see fit. The last thread descended into a nasty exchange with a number of objectors getting an uncalled for tongue lashing. Reasoned debate on an issue that impacts us all is called for not the sort of tactics employed by some posters.

Nat Parkes, please could you support your very unpleasant remark by demonstrating on this site how any comment made by GM or Kevin Jackson in their posts can be described as visceral. I have read all the posts under "Another view of Liphook Development" as I assume that this is the Thread to which are referring. Why attack these two? When reading this Thread I thought that GM's posts were particularly unbiaised and informative and I could find nothing offensive in Kevin's. In additon there have been far more posts from others for example A Ryan who obviously supports the scheme. It is posts like yours that encourage people to be nasty and also muddy the waters by distracting others from the content and purpose of The Thread.

If you care to actually read my posts on the matter you will see what I have done is read through the planning documents. These are not biased assumptions as I've quoted straight from the planning application. So please, do explain how stating facts and quoting planning documents constitutes as being arrogant or bullying? I'm more than willing to challenge someone's opinion based on assumption or heresy, I'm failing to see how that fits in to your comments though

I have no issue with anyone who chooses objecting to the scheme, but as I've previously said people should read the docs on the planning site so that it's at least an informed objection

Re: Bohunt Park - KG (30th Mar 2015 - 13:37:39) I do not recognise Bohunt Park, the only park I respect and want everyone to respect is the South Downs National Park. I hold a very strong view that no building development should be allowed in the National Park. The fields with their open views should be cherished as they are. I would like the unsightly fencing of the area supposedly startng construction of new unnecessary surgery to be taken down as there is no permission granted to build a new health centre. Both Liphook surgeries have extended and expanded in recent years and provide good service. Do not allow Liphook to become an urban sprawl.
