Double Glazing Catflap
- Jonathan (19th Mar 2015 - 21:53:00)
Has anyone in the area had a catflap put into a double glazed panel and could recommend a company to do the job? I realise I will need a panel replaced in entirety.
Thanks! :)

Hi - Yes, we had a cat flap put in our double glazed french doors. We used Atcost on the Passfield Mill Business Park.
We had to supply the cat flap and all the work was done on their premises then just fitted.
We have had it approx 12 years with no problems. Just ensure you purchase the correct cat flap.
Hope this helps.

Yes I used Atcost Windows in Passfield. They replaced the panel with a cat flap already built in. Did a very good job and it was very inexpensive.

Agreed, Atcost did ours perfectly.
I can also highly recommend Sureflap's cat flap that recognises your cat's microchip so only your cat enters the house and not all the neighbours. It's a little pricey but is so definitely worth it.

Yup, we have a Sureflap in our current house, so were planning to get the same (we would bring it with us, but not easy to replace the hole it would leave in the front door!). Will get in touch with Atcost once we\'ve moved in, the cat will have to put up with staying in for a few weeks!
Thanks!
