Photo's with Posts! - Sue w (28th Mar 2009 - 08:54:40) Having just read the post about parking and a person being identified from an election campaign. Just wondered if putting faces to names could be added here? Interesting to see if the dynamics change hummmmmmm.........

I believe that when real names [instead of pseudonyms] were insisted upon by the editor of this site, that this reduced the number of contributors.

Perhaps the ones others have been complaining about recently - and I think you too!! I really don’t know why Kev even raised the subject but I think you coped well, and if nothing else showed that under whatever circumstances - either wrong or right, explain why you did something, and not hid behind closed doors. I think that an admirable quality if you get elected, - nothing will 'scare' you off! Passed the test IMO Sue

If everyone thought along the same lines as Dawn then the spaces would be used by anyone and everyone whenever they felt like it. Do you know what, it is the principle.

I use to but noticed others didn't so thought it wasn't now required. Editor: maybe use the full name rule and enforce it so we all know who's saying what. If someone can't give their full name then maybe they shouldn't be permitted to comment. Will use my full name from now on.

I could put my aunties photo instead of mine. What point would the photo prove anyway? This site is for personal opinions and last time I checked it was still something we are able to do express opinions- A mature outlook recognises that life is made up of people who have divergent opinions. Are we going to be on crimewatch? Bad enough google doing streetview, an open invite to burglars. Perhaps next we will have to enter address and phone number?

Why did Kev not approach Dawn at the time, and quietly remind her of the error she made? Shall we all be encouraged to name and shame or load questions for people to reveal 'who dunnit'. Lets see: Lady in 4x4 04 plate black on Thursday 3.00pm- on mobile phone at roundabout (true) Police car - with PCSO on mobile (not hands free) driving in various locations recently Known identity (true) Man in colourful jumper, black trousers, black shoes, aged 40, dropping litter - oh I know who you are - going to own up? (Possibly true - but could be mistaken on one or two points!) I hope to God NO!! Everyone makes mistakes - is this is the way you want this discussion site to go?
