Does anyone know why the road is due to be closed for 4 days? Signs have been put in place today.

Why do authorities use kilometres when we are miles in this country totally out of order.

When the road reopens you will have to drive on the right, that’s why it’s in kilometres 😂😂🙈

Off post, but when recently buying curtain fabric, was abruptly told when asking for it in yards, ' we sell by the meter' - fine I say then the equivalent in meters ~ response 36 or 48 inch width !

You couldn’t make it up as they say would love to go back to OUR old system I no it can’t be done because of trading with the world but some of our things could be kept as in miles.

Ok we have embraced metric but our roads are in miles and we drive on the left the council put up road work signs in kilometres that’s the laughable bit they don’t seem to get it that we work in MILES have a nice day.
