Annual Community Meeting, 7pm, Monday 26th March - B&LPC (19th Mar 2018 - 19:28:04) Bramshott & Liphook Parish Council are hosting the Annual Community Meeting which is due to take place on Monday 26th March starting at 7pm at the Liphook Millennium Centre. This is an opportunity to celebrate our community and for residents to find out more about what’s going on in our community. The evening will start at 7pm with drinks and nibbles and a chance to hear the wonderful Love to Sing choir performing a few songs for us. This will be followed by some presentations from local people about local organisations. So far, we have Liphook Preservation Society, Liphook Carnival Committee, The Peak Centre Trust/Liphook Day Centre, Mum and Me Netball, District Councillors, Liphook Voluntary Care and Liphook Community Magazine. One of the hot topics for all of us at the moment is the emerging Neighbourhood Development Plan and there will be an opportunity to talk to members of the steering group, to hear an update on progress to date and to hear about the findings of the recent community engagement events. The Chair of the Parish Council, Jane Ives, will also give a short presentation about what your local council have been doing over the past year and plans in the coming year. Parish Councillors and District Councillors will be available for public questions or just an informal chat. We really look forward to seeing you on the evening. In addition to the speakers listed below we also have Bramshott Open Gardens coming along to talk to us about their event this June which is a huge fundraiser in our community.
