I live at Headley Down and whenever we have windy weather I cannot watch the TV for it breaking up really badly and making very noisy crackling sounds. It is dreadful.
Can anybody help please? Like children it is always fine when somebody comes to see it, it has to be on a really windy day - just like today (Tuesday)!!

We used to have the same problem. We decided to switch from Freeview to FreeSat a few years ago. No problems since then.

I live in Headley Down too - last year a similar problem developed.
I have lived here for quite a few years now - and have always used John Smith - JS Aerials from Lindford - 01420 472669.
It turned out to be aging co-axial cable which apparently breaks down and water gets in which in turn spoils the signal.
John is an expert, very polite and friendly, will not do unnecessary work - and is reasonably priced
I get all the Freeview channels now - with good picture clarity.
Suggest you give him a call

John is here right now up on my roof and can see your house from there he tells me!! He is fitting a new booster which we hope will do the trick.
