You could try CC Cleaner by Piriform.
Good luck,Fred

I used cCleaner for a while but eventually splashed out on CleanMyMac (currently on 20% discount I see at macpaw.com/store/cleanmymac).

I read some great reviews of this and was concerned that my 1tb disk was filling up. One of the best things I found was that it clears out all the unnecessary language files, of which there are hundreds and it freed up loads of space.

On another subject whilst I’m here, my 2012 iMac was getting very slow after installing High Sierra and after some research, I found out that that my hard disk might be failing (kept getting a spinning beach ball). I had the standard disk replaced with an SSD (solid state disk) and I cannot believe how fast the Mac is now. From turning on to getting a login screen used went from 90 seconds to 7 seconds, from entering a password to getting a fully booted machine from 2 minutes to 8 seconds, and opening the Photos app from over 3 minutes to 5 seconds..... just amazing. I have never had such a fast computer in all my life.
