Shop vandalism PRC
- Helen (19th Nov 2017 - 01:07:07)

To the mindless and selfish vandals that have just smashed two of our shop front windows...thanks to you I’ll be working Sunday which is my one and only very precious day off trying to fix the mess you made, I do hope you smiled for our cctv. No words...

Vandal is too nice a word for this oh I do hope you have them on cctv and they are caught maybe you can blow up there faces and stick them all over the village for all to see so sorry for you at the shop

Don't be cross at the poor little dears. They probably had a difficult childhood and no youth club in the village !!

Spare the rod - spoil the child.

So sorry to hear this Helen. Do hope that your ccTV enables the police to catch those responsible.

I completely agree with spreading the cctv everywhere.

Sorry for you Helen.
This is part and parcel of a suburban town life, no longer the little country village we used to be... We should expect ever increasing such incidents with the increase in local population and new comers. Sadly and wrongly it is more likely we will end up changing our way of life so that the present and future folk won't have to change theirs'.
Developers' land, broken community, lack of facilities, crumbling infrastructure, austerity, overstretched services...

Re: Shop vandalism PRC
- Ian (20th Nov 2017 - 07:54:19)

Once again Lips yet another ridiculous contribution. How would you define new comers. In all probability this mindless act was carried out by local youths, most likely born and bred in the area. Insular attitudes such as yours really are as ignorant as they are bizarre

Re: Shop vandalism PRC
- Jane (20th Nov 2017 - 08:29:52)

So sorry to hear Helen. So unfair to you, your family and your business.

Luckily these occurences are very rare in Liphook not that the following posters would have us believe. Go and live in Salford or even central Aldershot! for a week and you will see how lucky we are are, how lovely Liphook is as are the vast majority the people from all generations are here.

d - god amazing how judgemental and ageist you are! The very "stuck in the mud grumpy aspect of Liphook" so quick to apportion blame. Corporal punishment you want reinstated? When I speak to my elderly friends shocking how I hear it wasn't all good in the "good old days" - alcoholism, violence, marital abuse etc all happened just wasn't spoken off and swept under the carpet! Although, there were jobs for everyone and prospects, not laiden with uni debts, houses people could afford and food a lot cheaper so definitely easier living then for the youth than it is today.

Dont believe its been established it was any youth that caused the damage as yet- could also be a 40 year old drug addict but hey why not tar all the youth with mud that you so easily sling!
You obviously have been old aged all your life!

God Lips your posts are hysterical - your life is such a barrel of laughs! Optimistic all the way eh?!

Sorry again Helen - I do hope they are caught and your fab business is running regardless. I will certainly be ordering more pictures/gifts in the next couple of weeks

- Claire (20th Nov 2017 - 09:33:30)

Gutted to hear this Helen. Such a pointless, stupid thing to happen. Really hope they catch the culprit(s).

Thank you Jane and Ian for restoring some sense.

Let's Give PRC some extra decent trade and love in the run up to Christmas!!
