RUBBISH AND MORE AT THE REC
- Lucy (15th Oct 2017 - 13:28:51)

This morning we took our son football training at the Rec to be greeted with sick covering the path and lots of rubbish around one of the benches on the hill. The rubbish not only included cans of alcohol and food packaging but also small packets which still had a tiny amounts of weed in and another which had small amounts of white powder/crystals.

I am not one to stop people having fun (not my idea of fun but each to their own) but clear your rubbish and drugs up and take it with you!!! OR put it in one of the bins there!!

I am getting fed up of my son seeing this sort of thing! And while I am having a moan 😜 DOG POO!!! Last week my son fell off his scooter and ended up with dog poo all over his brand new gloves he got as a gift!!

Come on people......don't be lazy! Clean up after yourselves and stop ruining it for others!! It isn't difficult!

(FYI, I cleaned up most of the rubbish this morning)

I'm with you!! We went to the park yesterday and someone put all their cans, bottles rubbish out of their car on the floor!!! And there are bins!!!!

But more alarming is people gathering to do drugs or supply drugs we saw a few things going on.... why do that in a children's park, if you can't or won't do it at home then don't do it at the park!!!!

Make a 101 call to the non urgent police line to report behaviour which is illegal or antisocial, the call logs build up a history and will determine if more visits are required. Report the evidence you find even if you did not witness the act.

With regard to the rubbish call the parish council, there is far more rubbish now the lovely lady who used to do the gates and litter collection has gone. Usually it accumulates over the weekends as no one litter picks sat or sun.
