Chinook flying low today across Bramshott Chase

Travelling south on A3 c. 12.15 today from Hindhead towards Liphook, a very low flying Chinook helicopter flew across the A3 and looked as if it was going to land somewhere - I think The Edge would have been the only place around there that would be big enough to accommodate its landing. Did anyone else see it?

I didn't see it but I think you'll find it was heading for the helicopter landing strip at the end of the old Longmoor Rd. There used to be lots of these landings but not so many now.

I was walking my dog on Bramshott Common and the Chinook landed in the field there. It is MOD land so often army exercising up there, a very spectacular sight!
