Victoria,
Good luck with your new venture, it's great to see you back.

Is this the same Victoria from Samurai?

Another hairdressers shop deep joy! Just what we need!

- Ann (23rd Jul 2017 - 10:33:24)

It was a toss up between a takeaway, estate agent or hairdressers!!!! Happy Sunday!!

So Dave, you would rather see the premises remain empty for another five years. Let's just wish the new business well rather than the usual names whinging and moaning without ever making a single positive contribution.

If a person has a skill and qualifications in one area and can make money from it in a high street location, then good luck to them. There is no law which says a shop can only sell certain goods or services in one
area of the village or town. It is better than getting more charity shops
and as the previous poster says, better than leaving the premises empty.
We have had this discussion before and there is no profit for people opening a butcher or greengrocers shop with Sainsbury around the
corner, and the co op in the Headley Road.

I for one welcome the return of Victoria in a new shop.

Quite the best haircut I have had over the years.

Best wishes to her and family.

The very best of luck to you... unfortunatley this site is full of negative moaners that have nothing to other than spread their doom and gloom via a key board...

Another business in liphook is very welcome and is a positive thing to see in these times...

Perhaps more of the moaners should look stop looking out of the letter box and thinking they can see the world...

I will ceratinly be suppoting this business and hope if you are not one of the hundreds of negative mood hovering oxygen theives on here you will also...

Good luck ... i hope it works out well for you....

Hi Ian
Don't be so quick to assume that I do not make a positive contribution, I am entitled to my opinion as are you! I merely meant that we are inundated with certain lines of businesses 4 hairdressers within less than 100 yards nearly as many as estate agents! I operate a business in the service industry in the village so I WILL have my say, good luck to the new venture can't see it surviving though!

- paul (23rd Jul 2017 - 20:26:48)

what business do you operate dave ?

Re: Rock-A-Fella Barbershop
- Tracey (23rd Jul 2017 - 21:24:15)

Victoria will be an asset!
We only have 1 barbers in liphook and since samurai closed I've been traveling to haslemere to have my sons hair cut. Not any more.

Dave
You say you can't see it lasting long. How many hairdressers, takeaways and estate agents do we have? More than a village needs. How many have closed recently? None! We have 2 tea rooms within a minutes walk from each other, they are both still open.

Hi Victoria

What are your prices? Useful to know.

All best for the new venture. Good to see businesses opening in the village.

Just had a look on her website:

Cut & Finish - £15

Classic finishes or modern looks - a fresh cut and style.

Well worth it......she is so good with my little boy who is often reluctant to have his hair cut!

Dave, are you bald?
