Is there no elite group this time?
Re: Liphook Bike Ride June 11th - Sean (27th May 2017 - 13:00:41)
No separate entry class but there will still be the two separate starts to allow those quicker riders to get away.
Re: Liphook Bike Ride June 11th - KM (30th May 2017 - 09:55:12)
Please all drivers be aware & allow extra time for your journeys & allow cyclists room on the road - especially with pot holes everywhere - cyclists sometimes need to alter course at short notice to avoid them - Lets make it a safe day for everyone.
Thanks

So will there be two different sections like previous years, elite setting off first, then everybody else ?
Don't want to end up in the wrong pen !

Is this the same bike ride that goes along the hard shoulder of the A3?
Re: Liphook Bike Ride June 11th - LBR Admin (2nd Jun 2017 - 13:01:16)
To answer an earlier post there will be a short delay to let the quicker riders get away.
The A3 events are time trials I believe

Trying to enter online but it is sending me to an external site which requires membership. Is this the only way to enter online? They make an admin charge for each person I want to enter!
Any info appreciated

Hi Claire , Yes registration is through British Cycling , Membership isnt needed but you will need to register and there is a small admin fee per person. This is the most cost effective way to handle the entries to maximise the amount of funds available for the charities. There is a video on the www.liphookbikeride.com website to help you with the process .. Please email admin@liphookbikeride.com if you still have difficulty.
Thankyou for your support

As far as I can see you can't get anywhere without a username and password. Personally I'd give up at this point. Why put hurdles in the way ?
Plus it's a not LiBDA site - makes it look odd.
Make it simple. Make it an obvious LiBDA site. Don't make it confusing. So it makes more money - who cares if it puts people off ?
The Liphook Bike Ride is no longer controlled by LiDBA.

Sorry if you have found it difficult to register. We would like to think its no more difficult than online shopping.. You can always register on the day manually if you find the process challenging. We have had 400 registrations successfully sign up until now which is a fantastic result . The ride is run by a number of well meaning volunteers that didn't want to see the event just stop . We are sure there is room for improvment. If you think you can help us make the process easier then im sure you would be welcome to help volunteer with the organisation on next years ride .. All help very welcome .
