Right of way

Does anyone know why the footpath along the drive to Old Barn farm off Hewshott Lane is closedoff?

Are you talking about the big metal gated entrance.
You just need to slide the bar back to open it. I was up there on Sunday 23 April 2017 and the pathway was not closed off. I could walk right a long to Hewshott Lane with out trouble.

Do you know if there is a foot path from Liphook to Haslemere please? As far as Shottermill pond would be ok!

Hi Rachel. There is a bridleway /footpath that runs along beside the railway, that starts just on the outskirts of Liphook on the corner of Haslemere Road where the bridge crosses over. If you follow it correctly it leads you to Hammer and from there you can use pavements to Shottermill. The walk would be about 2 miles from under that bridge to Shottermill pond.Hope that helps

Rachel, there are numerous footpaths and your choice depends where precisely in Liphook you want to start, how big a detour you are prepared to take to avoid walking on a road, albeit for a short distance. Check out the rights or way on the ordnance survey map which you can find on bing.com/maps

Its filmed from Hammer back to Liphook.

So long as you don't get hit by cyclists you'll be fine - the little dog had a close shave!
