Dog mess EVERYWHERE - N (18th Apr 2017 - 14:29:47) We had a lovely weekend exploring our local countryside with the kids . I'm a wheelchair user and am spending today cleaning off dog sh!t from our shoes , the car pedals & my wheelchair. The mess at Ludshott common (entrance near the sharp bend along from Headley green) is disgusting! Poo everywhere on the path entering the woods. Clear up after your bloody dogs ! There's no excuse for it & people like myself can easily transfer YOUR DOGS SH!T onto our hands from our wheelchair wheels . I was up in a lovely village called Prestbury, south of Manchester on Friday. The pavements were covered in it - must be really disappointing for the residents.

SO many dog owners are in denial locally, however the proof is out there for all to see, smell and tread in. I would happily pay extra council tax so EHDC could employ a dog warden to catch and fine the filthy dog owners

The verges are full of sandwich packets, crisp packets, drinks bottles and juice cartons. what has happened to our society that we are happy to willingly screw it up? It is so upsetting to see. don't get me started on people who put dog mess (naturally biodegradable) into plastic bags (take thousands of years to degrade) and hang them on bushes! WTF is that all about?! The dog wardens only need photographic or video evidence of dog (doing the deed) and owner not doing their deed to prosecute.

Re: Dog mess EVERYWHERE - Paula (22nd Apr 2017 - 08:18:08) Dog poo is a health hazard,absolutely disgusting, the amount that i see on the pavements, and it is getting "worse"!.....there needs to be more serious consequences put in place for these selfish dog owners, ....i have done my bit,if i see a resident whom i know where they live,and they dont pick up their dog poo,...report their address to the dog warden,..who will send them a letter.....

Re: Dog mess EVERYWHERE - R. (22nd Apr 2017 - 17:37:55) Dog mess needs to be cleaned up in the woods and on pavements, So that everybody can enjoy walking without having to keep looking at the ground. If your not prepared to pick up after your dog. Don't get one.
