Quiz Night 12th May - LiDBA (30th Mar 2017 - 08:13:47) LiDBA are holding a Charity Quiz night to raise funds for local charities and causes. This year the theme will be "Favourite TV Quiz Shows" so there will be something for everyone. Place, date and time: The Millennium Centre Liphook on Friday 12th May, 7.00 for 7.30pm. A maximum of 6 members per team. Tickets £10 per person to include food, and a cash bar will be available. All money raised will be donated to local charities. Our Royal Quiz was a great success last year with over 100 people taking part. This year we hope to have even more. Re: Quiz Night 12th May - LiDBA (13th May 2017 - 09:52:14) LiDBA would like to thank all those who supported the 'Quiz of Quizzes' Quiz held last night at the Millennium Hall. The event attracted 98 participants who enjoyed some mind boggling questions set by quizmasters Chris and Carol Meech following the format of various TV Quiz shows. Participants enjoyed sumptuous food at the half way point of the evening washed down with drinks from the bar. LiDBA would like to acknowledge the help and support of their wives, partners and Peter & Ed Lawrance of Crystal Hire Ltd who supplied all the catering and bar equipment without charge. The winning team was ‘Pond Life’ from Frensham Pond Sailability. All the proceeds will be distributed to the charities represented on the night.
