Admers Farm ?
- Christina Cooper (27th Mar 2017 - 10:07:39)

I was wondering if anyone could help me . I am researching my family tree. I have just received my mums birth certificate and it says she was born at Admers farm Liphook. would love to know where that was/is. Lost my mum when I was very young . She would have been born in 1929.
Many thanks
Christina

Could it have been near Admers Crescent?

The 1948 OS map has the word Admers where Admers Crescent is now. The 1899 OS map does not.

I think you will find the house on the right just before Gunns F arm called Admers used to be called Admers Farm and it was that farm's land that Gunns Farm/Admers Crecent was built on.

Simon is correct in that the house called “Admers”, to the right of the entrance into Gunn's Farm Estate, is where Admers Farm was situated and Admer's Crescent undoubtedly reflects that.
The housing estate though is built largely on the 46 acres which belonged to Gunn's Farm.
