Has anyone lost a dog?
- Heather (18th Mar 2017 - 21:44:35)

Found wandering in Paddock Way, Saturday evening 7pm.

A small friendly well behaved male dog - not sure what breed but Jack russell size with terrier looks.
Has a collar and tag with a Portsmouth home phone number and mobile number but no answer from either. Text message left.

Name on collar - Paxo - not sure if it is the owners name rather than the dogs as he doesn't seem to respond to it

Wondering if someone in Liphook is looking after him while the owners are abroad and he has wandered off?

Please call 01428 723609 or 07890 336854

Oh no, poor little Paxo! Good on you Heather for taking him in in in his hour of need.
Please let us all know how he gets on. :-)

Have you contacted the vets or the dog warden to have him scanned for a microchip? Hope you find his owner soon.

Thank you for your concern and sorry I haven't had time to post an update until now, but I'm pleased to say that Paxo has been reunited with his owner's daughter in law who was looking after him.

He had managed to find his way from Headley Rd near the Co-op to Paddock Way, and seemed to enjoy his adventure, but all ended well.
