What a great idea, already got my running shoes but just need some motivation as I'm a complete novice. Can you text me details or start date etc as away on holiday at present.

Hi Daniel,
sounds good - one question - is it Monday or Wednesday, or both each week? Roughly how long are you expecting the sessions to last?

Claire, I did couch to 5K starting in January and it is a really fabulous way to "learn" to running, taking it very slowly at first and increasing each week. I was absolutely elated when I completed the 5K, and have done it twice since. Go for it, you'll be really energised when you've succeeded, and no, I'm not a fitness fanatic, anything but.

Hi Jim
Yes it is both nights with hopefully the athlete completing that weeks session once in their own time. the sessions in the first few weeks will be in total about 40 mins including warm up and cool down, in the later weeks the session will be nearer an hour.
If your interested or have any further questions then please contact me on.

11 weeks gone, and after only managing to be able to run for a minute without stopping, those that weren't ill or injured have just completed their 5k without stopping, some are now looking at longer distances incredible is all I can say and well done to those that are now on the rd to a more active lifestyle. Keep an eye out for another group starting in the New year.
