Liphook Christmas Cracker - Sarah (23rd Nov 2015 - 09:45:13) Liphook choir, Love To Sing and Amateur Dramatic company, M.A.D. are putting on a festive concert and evening of fabulous entertainment in Liphook Village Hall in aid of Dreams Come True. There will be refreshments on sale as well as a raffle. Date: Saturday 12th December Time: 7pm Venue: Liphook Village Hall, Headley Road, Liphook Tickets; £5 in advance which includes a welcome drink Tickets are available to purchase from Homes Estate agents in the Square during normal opening hours. Homes have kindly been supporting Dreams Come True for some years and it is great that they are continuing this support now they have opened in Liphook. Dreams Come True enable the dreams of children and young people aged 2-21 living with serious and life limiting conditions and disabilities.For more information about the concert or the charity please feel free to email sarah@dreamscometrue.uk.com or call 01428 726 330. If you like singing are tempted to join a choir, then come along and see what Love To Sing do and have a chat with them - they are a really friendly bunch! Earlier this year we fulfilled the dream of music lover and keen singer Lauren, who is 21 and lives with a rare, life limiting condition called Elhers Danlos Syndrome. Music is something that Lauren can always enjoy, no matter how much pain she is in and singing somehow makes her feel better. Her dream was to meet her favourite singer Katherine Jenkins and we were so pleased to be able to arrange this for her. The dream came at time when she was really struggling and needed a boost. A £5 ticket to the Liphook Christmas Cracker will make the warm fuzzy feeling of the mulled wine last that little bit longer!! Amateur Dramatic group MAD will also be performing. A great opportunity to see what they offer if you are tempted to join! Liphook Christmas Cracker raised £790! - Sarah (15th Dec 2015 - 15:55:14) Thank you to everyone who attended the Liphook Christmas Cracker concert. What a cracker of a night it was! There were fantastic performances by the Love To Sing Choir as well as some great entertainment courtesy of MAD Company. Special thanks go to; - Jan Roles and Vanessa Breach for doing such a great job organising and selling tickets. - The Love to Sing Choir and their families, especially Keith and Ros Thomas & Irene and Russ Ellis for their help clearing up. - Everyone who donated prizes for the raffle including The Links, Champney\'s Starbucks Old Thorns and the Co-op - Louise Avery for supplying decorations - Homes Estate agents for stocking tickets One thing I thought was amazing was how kind and willing to help everyone was. Liphook\'s community spirit is alive and kicking, go along to the choir or Liphook in Bloom to see for yourself! On top of that a fantastic amount was raised to enable more dreams to come true for children and young people aged 2-21 living with life limiting and serious conditions.
