Carnival Cups & Update
- Karen Feeney (2nd Sep 2015 - 14:42:08)

Dear All

Hard to believe that we are just 8 weeks away from Liphook Carnival...but we are. So now is the time to start thinking about bringing back your cups for us to engrave and also time for you to start thinking about how you are going to win them back again this year! Cups can be returned to the Parish Office which is open every day from 10am - 1pm. If you have a problem returning your cup please call me on 723971 or 07788 924791 and we can arrange to collect them if necessary. If they could all be returned by the last week of September that would be great.

Hopefully lots of you will be thinking about putting in a float or walking with the procession this year. We are so keen to keep the Carnival going but we can't do it without you. I know it's been said so many times before but we are so desperately short of committee members. If you have just arrived in Liphook and want to get involved in the community this is the perfect way to start! We are meeting at The Deer's Hut on Thursday 17th September at 8.00pm. It 's not too late to get involved as we need more volunteers on the night to help with all aspects.

Liphook is very lucky to still have a Carnival and we want to keep the tradition alive for as long as we can but without more volunteers it's going to be impossible.

Please think about getting involved, we would be so pleased to see some new faces on our committee.

Thanks.

Karen Feeney
Chairperson
