Fridge Freezer Repair PLEASE! - Viv Ritchie (29th Aug 2015 - 07:06:53) Hello everyone, I have a Panasonic Fridge Freezer which is having trouble with the fridge keeping cold. Can't find anyone locally to take a look as it's Panasonic. Hampshire as really busy. Can anyone suggest someone who will look at it for us? Thank you

Re: Fridge Freezer Repair PLEASE! - Tracey (29th Aug 2015 - 21:47:52) Unpack both the fridge and the freezer and turn off the switch for 48 hours, and it may sort itself out. If not, contact Panasonic directly if it's under 5 years as they are guaranteed.

However I am keeping my fingers crossed having turned it off for 24 hours and cleaning out the vents, I have seen signs of life when I turned it back on. I am just holding my breath............................ ;-)

Re: Fridge Freezer Repair PLEASE! - Bryan jones (3rd Sep 2015 - 00:12:20) Just had the same problem with my hotpoint, replaced probe sensor in the back of the freezer ( there are 2 ) one for the freezer and one for the fridge temperature ( my fridge would not go cold but freezer ok.) All running fine now, cost me £20 for part. Hope this helps

Re: Fridge Freezer Repair PLEASE! - Viv (4th Sep 2015 - 08:33:55) Thank You Everyone Now seems to be working. Fixed by defrosting for a good 24 hours. Pulling it out and cleaning the vents, resetting it's brain. No problems for 5 days now so I hope this is sorted. Much appreciate your help once again.
