Liphook Theatre Club : 10-14th August 2015
- Liphook Theatre Club (7th Jul 2015 - 14:02:16)
Liphook Theatre Club will be running a Summer Camp again this holidays, open to all children aged 5-11 - a friendly, fun, theatre skills experience week for children who love putting on a show. LTC Summer Camp '15 runs Monday 10th - Friday 14th August, 10am-3.30pm, at the Liphook Methodist Church Hall, London Road, Liphook GU30 7AN. Prebooking is essential as spaces are limited.
Children will be involved in learning and performing a great little production, building confidence and developing skills in acting, singing and dancing - as well as helping to make props, costumes, scenery and promotional material – learning wider elements of stage craft in addition to performing.
This Summer's production is Roald Dahl’s ‘Goldilocks & The Three Bears’, with lovely songs and the witty, grizzly verse of Revolting Rhymes appealing to all ages. Is sweet, innocent looking Goldilocks in fact a wicked crook, stealing porridge from under the snouts of three harmless bears? Let the trial commence! Performed to parents and friends on the last day.
Cost £80 for the week, £70 for younger siblings. For more information please email LiphookTheatreClub@gmail.com or ring Vanessa on 01428 722813.
Come and join the fun!

I agree, this a great activity week for the kids! To learn a play from scratch and then perform it in just one week is quite an achievement - and it's so much fun!

I was gobsmacked by last year's performance of Cinderella. How they managed to get the kids to put on such an excellent show in less than a week was amazing when you think what the children had to do: making props and scenery, learning lines, rehearsing songs and dances, making the wardrobe, sound and lighting etc.
But what really got me was how the less confident children were encouraged to get involved and take part, even if not on stage. I'm sure it really help build their confidence.
Well done LTC !

I highly recommend this week. My child has blossomed since last year and is signed up again for this year.
Book your place now for a very entertaining show at the end of next week
