Hi, afternoon tea in Liphook. Well, there's a thought. There's a place in the centre of Liphook near the Green Dragon where you can sit at a table on the pavement and inhale the traffic fumes as you tuck into tea n cake. The Old Thorns does afternoon tea, chocolate Frog in Oakhangar, garden centres.
Perhaps Liphook could do with a tea, ice cream sort of shop :-)

There is a tea room in Wey Hill, I have not tried it though. Also the Gilbert White House tea room in Selborne is lovely in a beautiful room, and Ramster gardens has a tea room.

I recommend the Old Thorns for afternoon tea - went there for my birthday - the warm scones with clotted cream and jam are to die for!!! - Enjoy wherever you go.

Park House Hotel just outside of Midhurst. We just had a lovely afternoon tea here sitting outside in their beautiful English country garden.

For cream tea, teh best place I have EVER found (i have tried many) is the little fresh 'bakery/cake shop/tea room' attached to the aquatic garden center. www.worldofwater.co.uk
The scones are so enormous that you can hardly finish them and clotted cream is real and the jam is to die for. Honestly the best I have had - I've been back numerous times to have one and the standard is always as high.
Even if you haven't got a fish pond - well worth a visit (but don't eat breakfast before you go in).

For me The Spread Eagle Hotel Midhurst is top.
The tea rooms at Cowdray are good and less formal ( on the Easbourne side)
Enjoy!
